3. What are the main advantages of micro cement?
When it comes to concrete, bigger isn’t always better. Micro-concrete is a newer type of concrete that is made with very small particles.
This makes it much more durable and resistant to cracking than traditional concrete.
It also has a higher strength-to-weight ratio, which means it can support more weight without becoming unstable.
In addition, micro-concrete is less permeable, so it won’t absorb water or vapor like traditional concrete.
This makes it ideal for use in areas where moisture resistance is important, such as in basements or bathrooms.

5. How to use micro concrete or DIY micro cement walls?
The first step in any home improvement project is surface preparation:
This is especially important when working with concrete, as any imperfections in the surface will be magnified once the concrete dries.
Fortunately, there are several ways to prepare a surface for concrete.
For instance, advantages can be used to create a smooth, level surface. Alternatively, a micro-concrete wall can be used to create a textured look.
Mixing micro-cement and applying the first coat is easy! You can use a hopper gun or trowel to make sure that you apply an even layer on your wall.
The ratio is one bag of cement to one bag of cement, starting with 4 quarts of water.
You want the mixture to have the consistency of pancake batter.
For this first coat, appearance really doesn’t matter – you just want to make sure the surface is completely covered.
If you want a smoother final coat, try to keep the first layer relatively smooth and even.
The concrete mixture will thicken as it sets, so we had to add water and remix every 30-60 minutes or so.
Step 3: Apply the second layer of micro cement
After waiting 6-8 hours for the first layer of micro cement to dry, you can apply the second layer.
Here you will choose how you want the final result to look – smooth and even, rough and rustic, or somewhere in between.
The micro concrete wall is now complete! The next step is to sand down any imperfections on the corners and edges of the walls/doorways.
This will create a smooth, professional finish. Sanding is also important for sealing the micro-concrete and preventing it from chipping or flaking in the future.
Step 5: Apply Sealer
After the second layer has dried for 12 hours, you can apply the sealer. The sealer is necessary to protect the finish and make the wall easy to clean.
Micro cement is a great material for construction projects, offering excellent performance in all kinds of environments.
